Even if it feels scary, I am here for the part of you that is ready to change and wants to stop beating yourself up!
I am so glad that a part of you has decided to reach out for support! I am guessing that part of you might be feeling anxious, depressed, frustrated, worthless, or even hopeless. I want that part to know that I see it and hear it and it isn’t alone. I have dealt with my own parts that have experienced intense emotions and engaged in eating disorder behaviors as a way to self-soothe. I want your part to know that there are other ways to live. Providing understanding and compassion to the parts of you that are struggling in relationships, feel “not good enough“, or feel out of control; can provide a safe way to explore these parts. I understand your critical or doubting parts may be speaking up. Let them know that we see them and respect how they are trying to protect you from becoming too hopeful. Can the part that wants help and wants to feel better reach out? Then we can figure out the rest together.
I offer a compassionate, flexible, and direct approach to help you develop the tools to manage intense emotions, heal from traumatic experiences, nurture your body in a healthy way, challenge negative beliefs about yourself, and most importantly lean how to have self-compassion. I am an expert in treating complex trauma and eating disorders, with over 2 decades of experience. It isn’t about the food or your body. It is about being able to feel comfortable in your own skin, knowing what your body needs and responding to it, expressing your needs/thoughts/emotions in assertive way, and identifying what your values are so you can live a more fulfilled life.
I provide telehealth sessions through secure video sessions. In addition, I am PsyPact Approved, meaning that I am able to see patients that reside in a multitude of states (to see if your state is part of the PsyPact agreement you can click here PsyPact Map). I want to reduce the number of barriers that may be getting in the way of you getting treatment. So even the smallest part of you that is struggling can feel safe reaching out.
